Repeated Earth Lives

Why is it at all practical in this life time for one to know about his or her prior lives?

(1) First of all this knowledge extends your time-frame enormously because you realize that your spirit self does not die, only your body dies. You no longer fear death at all.

(2) Secondly, you realize your own guilt and responsibility for any hardships you encounter, whether it be with friends, enemies or circumstances.  You are able to rise above any pain you may feel.

(3) Thirdly, your appreciation of the Bible increases greatly as you discover all of its secrets that are to be uncovered with this information about how life works.

(4) Finally, both your present life and your future potential are enhanced because you realize how very precious each moment of this life is.
Much of www.classicinsights.com is filled with insights that help you to realize these truths about yourself and the world. We particularly recommend the course on Edison and Ford. Henry Ford claimed that reincarnation was the most important secret of his life.

Living in the Present

Normal consciousness lives in the past. It is predetermined.  One has no freedom if we think that we are bound solely by our environment and heredity. This everyday consciousness has no complete reality and does not know what life is.  Death is the conclusion of this type of enclosed and truncated consciousness.  True life is in the present and is filled with creativity, freedom and love. It takes some amount of courage to live in the present, to know what life is and to live it.

We suggest one of the many courses from www.classicinsights.com to learn how to live in the present:
Towards a New Form of Consciousness:

You will receive a personal mentor for this wonderful study that will help you become much more creative and loving.

Grieving for Lost Love

Are you grieving over a lost relationship or the death of a love one?  Do you want to get over this grief?

First you must want to overcome your grief and not continue to be immersed in it.

Then you must concentrate on being grateful for the love that you had.  This is hard to do if you are not a grateful person.  But if you concentrate on this love in a much more positive way, you can become a grateful person.  Don’t let your grief get in the way of thinking about all that you loved.  You are in control of what you think.  Grief is not in control of you, or shouldn’t be.

Abe Lincoln can be a great teacher in learning how to overcome many types of losses. because for much of his life was filled with loss and disappointment.  Why don’t you try this course on this outstanding personality:

Overcoming Fear

Are you a fearful person?  Would you like to reduce the influence of these demons because you know being afraid is not helpful to you?

What is required at first is to learn how to experience yourself beyond your “normal” self.

It is your “normal” and natural self that is subject to fear.  It is not a natural procedure to rise above this self. It takes a certain amount of contemplation to find this better and higher self.  Believe it or not, your higher self does not fear. Your normal self is dying all of the time so why do we relate so strongly to this false experience? Why do we try to hold on to what cannot be held on to?
We need to find a new form of spiritual self-conscious awareness. This Power is found in many of the courses of www.classicinsights.com, especially:

Temper and Anger Control

Controlling your temper and anger
Do you have trouble controlling your temper even though you want to abate it?

Do you find that you suppress your anger?
The first step in the self-realization of this lack of control.
Next, find out who is in charge of yourself and then engage this Power with your conscious, intellectual understanding. This is very hard to do. To accomplish this feat we have to find a force in yourself which is above your “normal” self. This is your higher and better self. How do you find this force within yourself?
It is done through a process of contemplation and meditation.
All of the courses of www.classicinsights.com, will help you to become much more thoughtful in a heart-felt way. We particularly recommend the course on Sufi tales to help you to re-program yourself:

Spiritual Discrimination

A great evolution of spiritual self conscious awareness has taken place over the centuries. Have you wondered why Spirits used to talk to Human Beings, but for the past few hundred years this has not happened to “modern” people? Joan of Arc was the last person who had this experience for a very important purpose.

What is appropriate for one age becomes no longer suitable for another age.  Now there is a dramatic transformation of Human Consciousness taking place. The Spirit World is opening up to Human Beings.

Today, the admirable trait of tolerance is not enough of a spiritual quality.   Rather, Spiritual discrimination is essential for us to practice. We must be aware of two factors: From Whom does this spiritual information come? and What is the process that we use to receive it?   Channeling and Psychics will not do.   It is not the content that is so important because it is all so similar.  However, similar does not mean the  “same.”
Classic Insights has been created to help students with Spiritual Discrimination. We particularly recommend our course #22: Toward a New Form of Consciousness.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness
Do you have trouble forgiving people even when you realize that you are adversely affected by this trouble of yours?
The first step is the acknowledgement of this problem.
The next step is to forgive.  But knowing is very different from doing.  It is not so easy to forgive even though you know in your head that keeping a grudge or being non-forgiving is hurting you.

You must learn to think with your heart to accomplish real forgiving, but this is not easy to do either.  How do we learn to think with our heart? This important ability requires being able to contemplate and meditate so that you can rise above the “normal” self and experience your own higher and better self.  You can use Rembrandt’s paintings to help you with this important task.
Rembrandt was one of the greatest spiritual teachers who have ever lived, although his art is not usually presented in this manner by academics. His teaching is all done through his great artistic genius.  By meditating and contemplating on his great art, you will be inspired to forgive.  Also, you will learn how to think much better with your heart.
Why don’t you try this course from www.classicinsights and see how your life can be transformed?

Philanthropy means love for Humanity

How do we manifest our love of Humanity?
Is this love only on a personal or family basis or do we have any heightened spiritual self-awareness that enables us to expand this love? Do we endeavor to reach our guiding principles with practicality and intelligence?

Andrew Carnegie and Leo Tolstoy were two outstanding contemporaries whose contrast in their philanthropic attitudes could not have been more divergent. By contrasting Tolstoy’s idealism with Carnegie’s realism, we’ll expand the scope of our own love of others and help us realize greater senses of purpose and meaning in our own lives.

www.ClassicInsights.com is infused with a much greater understanding of love, but our course on The Philanthropy of Carnegie and Tolstoy is especially helpful in respect to giving to others. Why don’t you try it?

Shakespeare & Our 12 Senses

How many senses do we, as Human Beings, really have? We have 12 senses, not just the six with which we are more familiar.
Must we experience some sort of blindness (like King Lear or Gloucester) to awaken self-knowledge? How many senses do we think we have before and after reading King Lear? How do our senses compare to that of the animals?
Shakespeare remains a genius even to our modern age. If we look at Shakespeare with these questions in mind, we can attain varying levels of spirit self-knowledge.
www.classicinsights.com introduces us to our extra senses which we need desperately to face today’s difficult world.
Our course on Shakespeare and King Lear is especially good for giving us insights about all of our 12 senses: http://bit.ly/mKHaxq

Is our democracy going to become a dictatorship?

Why do democracies and republics become dictatorships?
The Athenian form of democracy wrested its form of government from Kingship only to fall back into dictatorship. The Roman Republic did the same. The American democracy has lasted much longer but will it now follow a similar decline?
We live towards the end of the age where the intellect rules, but this intellectualism combines itself with egotism. The next age will combine the intellect with a great deal of caring for others. We already can see this happening with concern for the oppressed and care for the environment, but it will happen much more so that egotism, the unrealistic care for our lower selves, will begin to diminish.
What can we do to hasten this New Age?
www.ClassicInsights.com is dedicated to help this happen by offering a study of literature, art, music, philosophy, politics and economics imbedded with a deep concern for love.
We recommend especially our courses on politics so that you will find your way in this evolutionary process:
