Shakespeare, Drama, and Self-Knowledge

How would each of us answer Hamlet's question, "What is man?" Do we relate to Hamlet's To be or not to be? soliloquy? Must we experience some sort of blindness (like King Lear or Gloucester) to awaken self-knowledge? How many senses might we think we have before and after reading King Lear? What is a group sense? This course helps us attain varying levels of self-knowledge.
